At our recent Congress, PASAI mentioned the opportunity for a 1 month secondment for two SAI staff to the PASAI Secretariat in Auckland, New Zealand, to assist with the Financial Statements of Government dataset.

PASAI FSG Consultants

PASAI Secretariat - Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER)

Following the recommendations of the recent Mid-Term Review of PASAI’s Strategy for 2014 - 2024, we are looking for a Director - MER, to help PASAI measure and demonstrate its progress and achievements against our goals. The role will be based in Auckland with the small Secretariat team but will require travel across the region to provide SAI-level focus.

PASAI’s Long Term Strategy (2014-2024) positions independence of Pacific SAIs as a key strategic goal (SP1). As such, PASAI needs to make available up-to-date information on the current state of SAI independence around the region, and resources on independence through the Independence Resource Kit. An amazing opportunity has arisen for one of PASAI’s auditors to take the next step up on their career ladder.

PASAI auditors at a senior level are invited to apply for a one-year secondment as Acting Deputy Auditor-General (DAG) to the Solomon Islands. Working alongside AG Peter Lokay, the secondee will provide vital DAG services to the SAI, while also mentoring and upskilling a SAI SI team member to take on the role after the secondment.
