SAI INDEPENDENCE

PASAI advocates for the interests of its members to support and encourage member SAIs to be independent and become sustainable institutions that make a difference to the quality of the public sector governance and service delivery for the benefit of their people.  A strong independent SAI is essential for a country’s good governance and public financial management. It achieves this by working in collaboration with other development partners, participation in international and regional conferences and publication of resources.
